It was built thanks to Queen Margarita of Austria, who was Felipe III´s wife. The construction works began in 1617 and finished 150 years later.
Jesuits were the owners of this building.
It had three areas: church, college and residence.
It is Baroque style and it has an important altarpiece of José de Churriguera. The clauster has three floors.
Nowadays it is a private University.
