CHAPEL OF THE VERA CRUZ
Baroque church with churrigueresque altarpiece.
ABARCA ALCARAZ HOUSE
Isabelline gothic house. It was built in the XV century. The doctor of Isabel the Caatholic ordered to construct it. It has Renaissance decoration.
HOUSE-MUSEUM MIGUEL DE UNAMUNO
It was built in the XVIII century. Miguel de Unamuno lived here when he was Rector of the University of Salamanca. Nowadays it is a center of studies about him.
SAINT TERESA HOUSE
Saint Teresa lived here when she came to Salamanca to found a convent.
CALATRAVA COLLEGE
Calatrava´s military Order constructed it in XVIII century. It is of Baroque style.
CONVENT OF THE DUEÑAS
Pretty convent of closing nuns, placed in a palace built in XV century. Court is a spectacular example of the Spanish Plateresco.
CONVENT OF THE ISABELES
Church of the XV century with gothic tombs.
CONVENT OF THE URSULAS
Church of Gothic style. Archbishop Fonseca ordered to construct it and he is buried here. The tomb is of alabaster of Renaissance style.
CONVENT OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI
It has a beautiful Renaissance front of XVI century and a major altarpiece of the XVIII century.
SAINT FRANCISCO CHURCH
It was built in XVIII century and it is of Baroque style.
SAINT MILLAN CHURCH
It was built as a parish but it was turned into convent in XV century.
SAINT JUAN DE BARBALOS CHURCH
Romanesque church from XII century. Inside there is a Cristo de la Zarza (Christ of the Bramble) of XII century.
SANTIAGO CHURCH
Medieval church in the Mozarabic neighborhood, with singular emplacement near to the river and Roman Bridge. It is placed in the route of peregrination to Santiago de Compostela. Its apses bases on arches of brick in a Romanesque temple testifies Morisco´s presence in Salamanca in XII century.
SAINT TOMAS OF CANTERBURY CHURCH
Romanesque temple of ther medieval repopulation. It was built in 1175 and it was dedicated to Saint Tomas Becket. It has Romanesque apse and several Gothic tombs.
ORELLANA PALACE
Palace of ends of XVI century.
RODRIGUEZ FIGUEROA PALACE
Reinassance palace of XVI century. Nowadays it is the Casino.
AIR TOWER
This tower belongs to a palace of XV century. There were four towers but only this is still on.
