Archbishop Fonseca ordered to construct it. For that reason it is known as Palace Fonseca. It was a salt deposit.
The facade is of plateresco style and it has great arches.
In the patio there is a gallery of tormented people, with a great expression and realism. The legend says that they are important people of Salamanca who did not want to accept the lover of the Archbishop.
